73rd Azalea Festival "Gem of the South Coast"

Event Description This is the 73rd Brookings-Harbor Azalea Festival:  a four-day community wide festival featuring Art, Flower, Quilt and Car Shows; a Parade, Street Fair, Kiddie Carnival, Food Court, Beef BBQ, Party at the Port, and lots more throughout the Memorial Day Weekend.


Event Location  Multiple venues throughout the community of Brookings and Harbor.

FRIDAY, MAY 25h

 

9:00am-5:00pm-FLOWER SHOW & PLANT SALE.  Brookings Harbor Garden Club. Quality locally grown plants. Chetco Grange Hall, Shopping Center Avenue, Harbor.

 

 

Noon-5:00pm-FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK SALE. Chetco Community Library, 405 Alder Street, Brookings.

 

5:30pm-7:00pm: AZALEA FESTIVAL KICK-OFF MIXER.

Meet Grand Marshals Bob & Phyllis Kerr; Pioneer Citizen Helen Hanscam and the 2012 Azalea Festival Queen and her Court.

6:30-8:30pm:  SATURDAY NIGHT ART GALA. Sponsored by Pelican Bay Arts Association.  Announcement of art show winner; interactive evening of art; make and take projects, portraits and sale of small pieces of art ().   Auction and door prizes at 7:45pm.  Entrance
